Zusammenfassung:	Plasma fibronectin (FN), a high-molecular-weight multifunctional glycoprotein, exhibits several properties that may be important in host defense. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between plasma FN levels and opsonophagocytosis (OP) of type III, group B Streptococcus (III-GBS) during infancy, that is, whether age-associated increases in plasma FN levels enhance OP of III-GBS in vitro.
