It is quite possible for nurses to work continually in their profession and yet be ineligible for a pension on retirement. The unique circumstances of nursesʼ career working patterns are outlined as are characteristics of hospitalsʼ pension plans. Action is recommended at three levelsindividual, employee and professional. |
