Cardiopulmonary Flow Studies Showing Abnormal Brain Perfusion

Cardiopulmonary blood flow studies with labeled micro-spheres show intracardiac shunts between the left and right ventricles when lungs and other organs supplied by the systemic circulation are visualized simultaneously. Such a dynamic sequence was used to detect abnormal perfusion of the brain.
