Zusammenfassung:	Two cases are presented where changes at ureteoenteric anastomoses masqueraded as neoplastic polyps that resulted in excision of the tip of the implanted ureter in one patient. The colonoscopist should be aware of this possibility and endeavor to identify the exact location of the ureteric orifices before excision of any polypoid lesion in this situation.
