A cure for pneumothorax during menstruation

A 43-year-old, nulliparous woman who suffered five right-sided pneumothoraces over four years, all of which occurred during the first seven days of her menstrual cycle, is described. Her spontaneous catamenial pneumothoraces were successfully treated by tubal occlusion.
