Presence of Mason-Pfizer Monkey Virus in Some Stocks of the Human HBL-100 Mammary Epithelial Cell Line

HBL-100 cells are widely used as a model of malignant progression in breast cancer testing. Users of HBL-100 cell lines should be aware that some cell stocks are producers of the Mason-Pfizer monkey virus.
