Zusammenfassung:	Handedness testing carried out in the course of clinical treatment and research with stutterers has provided no support for an association between left-handedness and stuttering. Stutterers had neither a greater incidence of left-handedness than is usually reported for the general population, nor demonstrated less consistency than fluent speakers in hand preference.
