Zusammenfassung: | Acquired cystic disease of the kidney is a common phenomenon in long-term adult dialysis patients with endstage renal disease. Malignant degeneration with cortical neoplasms is also well documented in this patient population. Although the prevalence of this disease process is common in adults, the literature is sparse concerning its occurrence in children. To our knowledge, we report the youngest case of a renal cortical neoplasm associated with dialysis-acquired renal cystic disease in a 13-year-old boy. |
