Zusammenfassung:Comparing the myosin-ATPase activity in the left and right ventricular wall of the hearts from 6 rats by scanning histophotometry, a higher enzyme activity in the right ventricle was found. These findings are in a good agreement with the higher numbers of myofilaments per myofibril in the right ventricle, reported in literature.
