Zusammenfassung:A series of ester derivatives of teicoplanin-N-acetylglucosaminyl aglycone (T-A3-2) and deglucoteicoplanin was prepared starting from teicoplanin and from the corresponding deglycosylation compounds. The modification of the ionic and lipophilic character of the parent antibiotic strongly influences the spectrum of antibacterial activity in vitro.
