A comparative study of pipemidic acid and nitrofurantoin in the treatment of uncomplicated urinary tract infections

In an open uncontrolled trial 60 women with confirmed uncomplicated urinary tract infections were randomly allocated to receive either pipemidic acid (Septidron; Ethimed) or nitrofurantoin for 10 days.
