Zusammenfassung:Two spontaneous tumours in the hind leg of 2 aged Mastomys were diagnosed as poorly differentiated rhabdomyosarcomas. In both cases, the neoplastic cells had no evidence of cross-striation, but had a positive reaction for muscle-specific proteins. This is the second report of rhabdomyosarcomas in Mastomys, and the first described in detail.
