Zusammenfassung:	In order to have a better understanding of patient's clinical reality for cost analysis and research issues, it is essential to complete medical and nursing classification systems by scoring methods. After a discussion of the concepts which underlie the entire methodology, the following paper presents an algorithm allowing the calculation of patient's complexity related to care, which is emphasized by a paramedical and nursing summary.
