Duodenal atresia: Its occurrence in siblings

The authors describe a case of duodenal stresia occurring in two siblings. It is possible that the third sibling also died after complications of the same malformation. This familial occurrence may support the hypothesis that this anomaly is determined by an autosomal-recessive gene.
