Zusammenfassung: | A 2-year-old girl was physically abused. Radiographs showed several fractures in the extremities that are typical in child abuse. Computed tomography showed an acute liver hematoma. Radionuclide bone imaging showed multiple fractures and extraosseous accumulation of bone imaging radiopharmaceutical in the liver, kidneys, and soft tissues. The diagnosis of child abuse must be included in the differential diagnosis when skeletal scintigraphy shows abnormally prominent soft tissue localization in infants and young children. |
