Zusammenfassung: | Two cases are presented illustrating the use of a new intracoronary infusion catheter providing flow support using a unique spiral coil design. Good clinical outcomes were obtained employing 4‐hr inflations with localized infusion of urokinase at the site of dissection and extensive clot formation, respectively. This low‐profile catheter‐mounted device may provide an alternative to stent placement in cases of acute dissection complicated by thrombus formation. © 1995 Wiley‐Liss, Inc. |
