DEVON AND CORNWALL
The Madrigal Society, conducted by Dr. H. Lake, was responsible on February 26 for a first appearance at Plymouth of Benno Moiseiwitsch, whose playing of Ravel and Debussy particularly was a revelation of tonal proportion and exquisite interpretation.
