Zusammenfassung:	Contact follow‐up for patients with pulmonary tuberculosis is an important component in the control of this communicable disease. In two recent cases, district public health nurses used a model that resulted in 100 percent compliance in the initial screening of industrial contacts to contagious pulmonary tuberculosis. Seven factors are believed to have contributed to this success rate. This approach to case management seems valuable, since compliance in follow‐up is a major obstacle in the control of the disease.
