Patchy Uptake of Gallium in the Lungs of AIDS Patients with Atypical Mycobacterial Infection

gallium scans of seven AIDS patients who cultured tive for atypical mycobacterium were reviewed. Six ired positive for Mycobacterium avium intracellu while one for Mycobacterium xenopi. A patchy uppattern of gallium in the lungs of these patients identified.
