Zusammenfassung:	The susceptibility of C57BL/6 mice to oral inoculation with Myobacterium paratuberculosis was evaluated histopathologically. Granulomatous lesions containing acid-fast bacteria developed in the mesenteric lymph nodes in over 50% of the mice by 11 months after inoculation. The results suggest that C57BL/6 mice may be useful for studying infection, pathogenesis, and other aspects of paratuberculosis.
