Zusammenfassung:	Evidence is presented that a number of different ribonuclease activities interact with the cytoplasmic ribonuclease inhibitor of rat and that these enzymes vary in their distribution in different tissues. Two ribonuclease activities were purified from rat liver and three from rat uterus. They were characterised with respect to their activity, substrate preference and pH optima.
