Zusammenfassung: | It is necessary to analyze the phenomenon of immigration to understand the development & recent evolution of the European Union. However, studies on this subject are scarce & of a very limited scope due, among other reasons, to the difficulty of obtaining reliable & consistent information. The aim of this paper is precisely to analyze immigrant populations in the context of the European Union, & examine one of the most controversial aspects of this phenomenon: the integration of these individuals into the labor market. Using a logistic regression model -- applied to the last Survey on European Working Conditions that was carried out in all 25 EU countries -- we evaluate the working conditions of the immigrant population as compared to those of native workers.
