Saliva Leakage from the Parotid Gland

A 50-year-old male with buccal abscess which has changed into crater shaped defect of the right face with some liquid leakage was sent for salivary gland scintigraphy to determine whether the leakage is saliva from the right parotid gland. Salivary scintigraphy confirmed leakage of saliva.
