Zusammenfassung:	The authors report on a patient who was pretreated with a depot GnRH-analog previous to exogenous gonadotropin stimulation before in-vitro fertilisation (IVF). The patient had an undiagnosed ectopic pregnancy. Folliculogenesis and the hormone profile were normal. In patients with patent tubes, contraception (non-hormonal) in the cycle previous to IVF should be performed.
