Zusammenfassung: | Recent experiments in murine allograft models designed to reflect selected aspects of clinical transplantation have revealed the potential contribution of antibody and complement to rejection. This model of antibody mediated rejection emphasizes two other clinically relevant variables: the importance of the antigenic disparity between donor and host (mismatched at class I MHC but sharing class II MHC in this model) and the variation in genetic capacity of recipients to produce high titers of alloantibodies. |
