Zusammenfassung:	We report a case of gastric emphysema secondary to massive gastric distention. The gas within the gastric wall was seen as lines of bubbles on plain films, echogenic foci with distal reverberation on sonograms, and bubbles on computed tomography scans. Gastric emphysema was due to necrosis, illustrating the importance of recognition of these imaging signs.
