Zusammenfassung: | Significant themes in research on adolescent development include the appearance of integrated models, specification of developmental processes related to childhood and adult development, and identification of risk and protective factors. The developments are illustrated by research and theory on adolescent depression and aggression. More micro-level studies and cross-cultural research are needed, as well as attention to specific risk factors for psychopathology. Moreover, the integrative models that have been developed may be overly broad, including too many factors without identifying those that are most significant. |
