Zusammenfassung:Patients who had anterolateral and posterolateral approaches in total hip replacement surgery were compared clinically for limp, dislocation, hospital stay, and discharge disposition. The only statistical difference was that the posterior approach had a statistically higher dislocation rate. Although the number of patients with limp was higher in the anterolateral group, the difference was not statistically different.
