Zusammenfassung:	We have developed two new fiberoptic instructions for outlining the anatomic characteristics of the extrahepatic biliary tree. By transilluminating the common and cystic ducts and duodenum, any obstruction or pathologic abnormalities can be visualized and located. These instruments can be used instead of intraoperative cholangiography when indicated.
