Zusammenfassung: | The authors examined regional cerebral blood flow by using Tc-99m HMPAO SPECT studies In a patient who received a gunshot wound to the brain. Although the presence of the retained bulletʼs fragments adversely affected the quality of CT images and contraindicated MRI studies, the SPECT examination did not have the same constraints and allowed both therapy assessment and prognostic evaluation. The repair of the cortical defect could also be assessed. |
