Zusammenfassung:Height measurements were obtained on 2800 children (ages 3-18 years) in urban primary and high schools in eastern Nigeria. Data are reported for mean values and standard error of the mean for male and female children of 2 dietary classes, by age. Centile curves are plotted (50th percentile) and tabulated for each sex and class and compared with WHO standards. The age of puberty was determined to be 17 years for males and 15 years for females.(wz)
