Zusammenfassung: | Focal glomerulosclerosis, with the nephrotic syndrome and progressive renal insufficiency, developed in a 15-year-old boy who presented initially 1 year earlier with orthostatic proteinuria. Although generally considered to be a benign disorder, this case suggests that on rare occasions, serious glomerular diseases may develop in patients with orthostatic proteinuria or that significant glomerular disease may occasionally present with postural proteinuria. |
