Zusammenfassung: | A mailed survey having 53 per cent response assessed the continuing education needs of members of the Michigan Dietetic Association. Respondents most preferred a workshop format with emphasis on obesity programs. Clinical and generalist dietitians ranked education on disease states and nutrition assessment highest, while food service dietitians ranked education on cost-control and microcomputers highest. Community dietitian needs emphasized life cycle and teaching methods information. The top 10 ranked continuing education preference topics for the various dietitian classes are summarized and discussed.(wz) |
