Zusammenfassung:	The results of using metabolic control theory versus biochemical systems theory to analyze a model of the tricarboxylic acid cycle in Dictyostelium are described. The two types of analysis give essentially the same results, except that smaller responses to perturbations are observed for the model analyzed by metabolic control theory. The basis for this difference is discussed.
