Use of facemask continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) in patients with refractory hypoxaemia caused by burn sepsis
An adequate increase in oxygenation has been achieved by using facemask CPAP therapy in three burn patients with refractory hypoxaemia following sepsis, obviating the need for endotracheal (ET) intubation.
