Zusammenfassung: | This study was designed to elucidate a relationship between pancreatitis and inorganic phosphorus concentration in pancreatic juice. Experimental acute pancreatitis was produced by injection of 0.5% sodium deoxycholate into the dog pancreatic tissue directly through the pancreatic capsule, and exocrine pancreatic function test including measurement of inorganic phosphorus was performed at 3rd, 7th, 14th and 28th day after the injection. Acute necrotizing pancreatitis was observed at 3rd and 7th day, and fibrous tissue proliferarion at 14th and 28th day, of which lesions were localized at the point of injection. At 3rd day, max, phosphorus concentration and phosphorus output were significantly increased and max. bicarbonate concentration was significantly decreased. These functional alterations were normalized gradually after three days with subsiding of pancreatic inflammation. It was demonstrated that changes of inorganic phosphorus concentration in pancreatic juice was paralleled with histological findings. It was suggested that elevation of inorganic phosphorus inpancreatic juice was due to the increased permiability of cell membrane and the destruction of acinar cells induced by pancreatic necrosis and inflammation. |
