Zusammenfassung: | The systematic analysis of response patterns is essential in investigations of discrete trial choice behavior as well as analysis of, for example, responding under various schedules of reinforcement. In the former case, drugs and other treatments may indicate performance deficits which could be caused by entirely different mechanisms, and it is of importance to determine the precise processes involved. A method of separating the effects is required and many techniques, including the methods of signal detection theory (SDT), have been used. |
