Shock occurrence in patients with an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator without spontaneous shocks before first generator replacement for battery depletion

The results of a study of the incidence of spontaneous shocks after device replacement for battery depletion in implantable cardioverter-defibrillators in 26 patients who did not receive any spontaneous shocks from their initial device are presented.
