Zusammenfassung:Bilateral pulmonary hypoplasia associated with hydrothorax is an unexplained entity. The purpose of this study was to evaluate an ultrasonic diagnostic approach towards this problem. Antenatal screening of pregnancies at risk for fetal hydrothorax, early detection of suspected hypoplasia and active management might afford the fetus adequate pulmonary function to support extra-uterine life.
