Zusammenfassung: | The problem of emotional stress is attracting increasing attention by specialists in different fields. At present it is accepted that emotional stress of different origin mainly affects the central nervous system. Severe and prolonged emotional stress can lead to persistent metabolic, functional, and morphological changes in the brain structure. The aim of this study was to investigate the ultrastructural changes in neurons and interneural contacts in the parietal region of the cortex of the large hemispheres and in the reticular formation of the mesencephalon and the bridge of Varolius after emotional stress in animals. |
