Zusammenfassung:A new tumor marker for the pancreatic cancer, named KM01, detected by the monoclonal antibody for the cell line of the colon cancer, was studied about its specificity, especially the comparison with CA19-9. KM01 didn't show the cross reactivity with carcinoembrionic antigen, ferritin, calcitonin, human chorionic gonadotropin and α-fetoprotein, but its titer corresponded with the value of CA19-9. Immunological cross reactivity and enzymological finding of KM01 were also demonstrated to be coincide with CA19-9. These findings suggested that the antigenic determinant of KM01 was almost or totally same as that of CA19-9. However, the cardinal component of KM01 was glycoprotein consisting of carbohydrate and protein, and different with monoganglioside of CA19-9.
