In Search of the Perfect Cold Remedy

In Search of the Perfect Cold Remedy Pharmacology courses provide essential nursing knowledge, yet many students consider such courses tedious and dry. Therefore, a creative and challenging assignment for novice baccalaureate students was developed to provide a real-world experience with practical applications. The objectives for the class were to apply knowledge from the sciences and use it with nursing theory to make nursing practice decisions concerning pharmacotherapeutic agents, and to foster the development of critical thinking skills to assess, diagnose, and evaluate responses to pharmacotherapeutic agents and plan appropriate interventions.
