'Quality and quantity' : Qualitative approaches to mental health research

Debate about the relative merits of the qualitative and quantitative approaches has often been unhelpfully polarised; both methods have their merits. Suggests that the strengths of qualitative methods compensate for the weaknesses of the quantitative approach.
