Zusammenfassung:Some studies to evaluate the active principles of a cytosol preparation of first trimester human placenta are described. The preparation's clinical effect in producing healing of indolent wounds could be due to its stimulation-type action on these lesions, as it would appear that they are not exposed to the socalled "healing cascade" which occurs in acute injury to soft tissues.
