Hormonal treatment for the climacteric: alleviation of symptoms and prevention of postmenopausal disease

The management of climacteric complaints, including dysfunctional uterine bleeding, vasomotor symptoms and urogenital aging and the long-term hormone treatment for the prevention of osteoporosis and cardiovasucalar disease are discussed.
