THE GUILLAIN-BARRÉ SYNDROME IN THE ELDERLY: CLINICAL AND ELECTROPHYSIOLOGICAL FEATURES OF FIVE CASES

The Guillain-Barré syndrome is an important cause of polyneuropathy in the elderly. The clinical and electrophysiological features of five cases are presented. Electrophysiological investigation has a valuable role in the diagnosis of this condition in the elderly.
