Zusammenfassung:Catheterization of a grossly edematous uncircumcised penis can be challenging if the prepuce cannot be retracted. Herein is described a technique in which an anoscope is used to visualize the meatus and facilitate placement of a Foley catheter. This simple technique can obviate the need for cystoscopy or suprapubic cystotomy.
