Zusammenfassung: | Seventy-five patients who had undergone diagnostic arterial catheterization of the femoral artery by a percutaneous technique were examined for diminished pulse pressure by amplified oscillometric blood pressure recordings. Nine of the 75 (12%) had diminished pulse pressure recordings. These data contrast favorably with our previous experience with arteriotomy for catheterization and indicate that percutaneous femoral arterial catheterization in children has less risk of arterial complication than previously suspected. |
