Zusammenfassung:This article addresses the variety of local strategies in job placement. Firstly, a typology of placement strategies is developed. Second, the variety of placement strategies is analyzed empirically for two points in time, using the method of fuzzy sets type analysis. The empirical analysis demonstrates that the variety of placement strategies has decreased over time. Moreover, the basic placement approaches of sanctioning activation and employer orientation seem to be more relevant than the approach of supportive activation.
