Zusammenfassung:	The use of autosuture staplers in intraabdominal surgery has become an accepted procedure for simplifying gastrointestinal surgery. Described in this report is a simple method of correcting unrelenting gastric obstruction that may occur after gastric partitioning for morbid obesity by utilizing the autosuture model EEA stapler to reestablish gastric continuity.
